Shiba Inu to Develop a Revolutionary Gaming Ecosystem on Shibarium

The team behind the Shiba Inu ecosystem reveals plans to develop a gaming ecosystem on its Layer-2 scaling solution, Shibarium. 

The initial step involves launching a closed beta testing for Shiba Eternity, the cryptocurrency’s collectible card game (CCG), in the third quarter of 2023. 

Shiba Inu Leverages Blockchain for Enhanced Gaming Experience 

Although the mobile version of Shiba Eternity has existed since October 2022, the team is developing a blockchain version and plans to launch it on Shibarium. 

The move aligns with traditional gaming studios’ growing adoption of blockchain technology. These studios leverage blockchain to develop high-performance, secure, and robust gameplay experiences for players.  

Interestingly, the Shiba Inu team has joined the bandwagon as it works behind the scenes to develop a gaming project powered by Shibarium. The Shibarium version of Shiba Eternity will revolutionize gameplay. It aims to allow players to earn in-game assets, promote a player-driven economy, and support community-based governance. 

Plans to Launch More Games on Shibarium 

Speaking in an interview with The Shib Daily, Angel, the pseudonymous game lead of Shiba Inu Games, noted that the team hopes to demonstrate the benefits of Shibarium to players and developers via the upcoming Shiba Eternity blockchain-powered game. 

Angel confirmed that integrating Shibarium would enhance players’ experience, offering seamless gameplay with high scalability at minimal costs. 

In addition to Shiba Eternity, Angel hinted at the potential launch of more games on the L2 scaling solution. According to her, these gaming projects will connect developers, gamers, and creators within Shibarium. 

In response, Mazrael, Shiba Eternity Advisor, suggested that Shiba Eternity’s tradable cards and other features will be available in the early part of Q3 2024. Interestingly, Mazrael hinted at the imminent launch of Shiba Eternity on Shibarium.

Shiba Eternity Beta Launch Slated for Q3 2024 

This development comes a few hours after the team revealed the date for Shiba Eternity’s closed beta testing. As reported earlier, Shiba Eternity closed beta testing will commence on Shibarium in Q3 2024. 

The closed beta testing involves test-running all features of the game to allow developers identify and resolve any glitches. Afterwards, the team will open beta testing to the public before launching the game on Shibarium mainnet.
