Great start of the week as the total value of the cryptocurrency market exceeded $2.1 trillion. The CoinGecko data shows that Bitcoin’s market dominance has fallen to 52.7%, and some altcoins are starting to gain serious weight.

News This Week: The Ethereum community is preparing for the Berlin hard fork, Ethereum developers have scheduled the Berlin hard fork for April 14 at block height 12,244,000″.
Why To Follow: The Berlin hardfork includes four EIPS: 2565, 2929, 2718 and 2930. The hardfork is expected to reduce the ETH gas fees and improve smart contract transactions, especially EIP-2565. ETH holders who do not operate nodes need to do nothing during the update.
Binance Coin (BNB)
News This week: Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao announced that the periodic burning for BNB tokens will take place in a few days.
Why To Follow: Binance shifts BNB supply/demand balance by burning BNB tokens every quarter of the year. Previous 14th quarterly BNB Burn (October to December 2020), Binance burned a total of 3,619,888 BNB, equivalent to $165,791,000 USD (At that Time) worth of tokens.
Burning of BNB tokens reduce their supply and as demand of BNB is increasing everyday, this result is increasing price of BNB, as we can see BNB is trading above $600.

News This Week: Pancakeswap will launch the first IFO using the new format this week and will announce the project on Monday, April 12th.
Why to follow: An update to the Initial Fork Offering (IFO) format in Pancakeswap is coming. People will be able to invest either a limited or unlimited amount in Pankcake First ever IFO. Those who want to invest unlimited amount will pay a 1% commission in CAKE token, the commissions collected will be burned in order to reduce the supply of CAKE.
