Donald Trump and Senator Elizabeth Warren have one thing in common: Both Hate Bitcoin.

In his keynote address, the Massachusetts senator described the largest cryptocurrency as a “lousy investment” and a “haven for illegal activity.” Warren has also called for a restriction on “environmentally wasteful” Bitcoin mining, claiming it is a “disaster” for the planet. Contrary to Warren’s latest comments, Texas Senator Ted Cruz said Bitcoin has “a lot of potential”.
She Said:
One bitcoin transaction uses the same amount of electricity as the typical household uses in a month. Wild swings in BTC value mean that Bitcoin is a terrible currency.
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, a longtime Bitcoin advocate, also reacted to these statements by Senator Warren. He said that he would leave his companies to work on BTC.
