A Canadian company providing healthcare services is getting noticed by expressing its willingness to support three of the most popular cryptocurrencies Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and Floki Inu (FLOKI) as their payment method.
The Canadian healthcare company Ask The Doctor headquartered in Toronto, provide medical and health information and services.
Prakash Chand, co-founder, and CEO of Ask The Doctor seems to be a big crypto enthusiast. In April 2016, in an interview with the Huffington Post, Prakash Chand and Dr. Michael Warner, who at the time was chief medical officer, spoke about the company’s acceptance of crypto assets, including bitcoin (BTC) and five other cryptocurrencies, as a means of payment.
When they were questioned why the firm had commenced accepting Bitcoin, Warner replied:
“In the realm of healthcare, most consider the foundation of patient privacy as restricting access to the content of the doctor-patient interaction. In digital health, securing the content of such interactions is absolutely necessary but may not offer certain patients the level of privacy they require. Our customers share with us privileged and sensitive information. Until we added Bitcoin, our services had to be purchased using a Credit Card or Paypal. To some, having a banking paper trail documenting a transaction with “Ask The Doctor” did not provide them with a sufficient level of privacy.
The other reason to offer payment through Bitcoin is to maximize accessibility to our services. Credit cards are not universally available. In some cultures, women do not have the same financial freedom as men to obtain them. Two-thirds of our customers are women and we have customers in every country in the developing world. Our overall goal is to democratize access to health care, and offering Bitcoin is consistent with this goal.“
Based on his vision to add crypto as a means of payment the visionary co-founder of Ask The Doctor has added support for dogecoin, Shiba Inu and Floki.

Several hours later, apprehending that SHIB was gaining higher votes than FLOKI in their Twitter poll, Ask The Doctor declared that they would add SHIB as a payment method.

And finally, Mr. Chand did not want to disappoint the Floki community so they announced FLOKI would also be part of the medical service as payment.
People will soon be able to use #FLOKI tokens to pay for healthcare services.
Talk about real utility!$FLOKI truly is the people's cryptocurrency.
