Shiba Inu Lead Developer Shytoshi Kusama Reiterates Support For SHIB Amid Andre Cronje’s Departure.

Following reports of prolific developers Andre Cronje and Anton Neil calling it quits in contributing to the decentralized finance space, Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous lead developer of Shiba Inu, has reiterated his commitment toward the development of the SHIB ecosystem.

In a Twitter post shared today, Kusama stated that he would continue to contribute his quota to the Shiba Inu ecosystem by building useful projects that would help the cryptocurrency be regarded as a utility token instead of a memecoin

“I see a future where most see the end. (Which I get.) I’m no billionaire (and never will be), I’m just a normal guy doing my best. shibarmy,” Kusama said.

The Shiba Inu lead developer added that the recent departure of Cronje and Neil goes on to show the danger cryptocurrency developers are facing for their contributions in creating a decentralized finance ecosystem that could grant everyone financial freedom.

“Regardless of the anger, [bullshit], and extortion, I will not give up until we carve out a new world,” the pseudonymous Shiba Inu developer added.

Kusma’s comment comes weeks after he slammed critics who are fond of criticizing the project for not signing major partnerships with Microsoft and Warner Brothers.

Kusama noted at the time that Shiba Inu is yet to secure major partnerships because it is still building and a majority of its projects are still under development.

Yesterday, Neil announced in a Twitter post that he and Cronje were closing the chapter of development in the DeFi and crypto space. The sad announcement plunged the prices of several decentralized finance cryptocurrencies such as Fantom (FTM), Yearn Finance (YFI), Geist Finance (GEIST), and others.

Meanwhile, Kusama is still at the forefront of developing notable Shiba Inu projects that will transform SHIB from being considered a meme coin to a utility token.

As reported, Shiba Inu is currently building its play-to-earn (P2E) game and a burn portal that will ultimately reduce the total supply of SHIB, thus boosting the value of the cryptocurrency.
