After launch, Tesla Sells Out Of Cyberwhistle Merchandise Purchasable Only With Doge In Hours.

Tesla has officially sold out of the Cyberwhistle hours after Elon Musk urged users to “Blow the whistle!” to promote the merchandise that users can purchase only with Dogecoin.

According to the Tesla website:

“Inspired by Cybertruck, the limited-edition Cyberwhistle is a premium collectible made from medical-grade stainless steel with a polished finish. The whistle includes an integrated attachment feature for added versatility.”

Notably, each whistle costs 1000 DOGE, which is a little over $60 at current rates. It bears mentioning that the “Blow the whistle!” promotion by Musk might be an attempt to draw attention to statements by Twitter security lead cum whistleblower Peiter Zatko before the US Senate yesterday.

Notably, Musk and his camp believe that Zatko’s statements support their case for pulling out of the Twitter deal. Moreover, they have already obtained permission to use Zatko’s testimony in court. The quick sale of the Cyberwhistle under these circumstances indicates the strength of Musk’s following among the Dogecoin community, who hoped that DOGE would be an acceptable means of payment on Twitter under the billionaire’s ownership.

It is worth noting that earlier this year, the Tesla chief made a $44 billion bid for Twitter but decided to back out after he felt the firm was dishonest about the number of bots on the platform. Notably, Zatko’s statements support Musk’s claims that the company has much to lose by being open about the number of bots on the microblogging platform.

The Cyberwhistle resembles a Tesla Cybertruck and will be delivered to lucky buyers in 4 to 6 weeks. Tesla officially started accepting Dogecoin as payment for merchandise in January as Musk continues to champion DOGE as an excellent means of value exchange.
