The network’s daily active addresses have increased since Polygon launched the public testnet for the zkEVM. Recall that the zkEVM’s public testnet was launched on October 10, 2022, as part of an effort to improve the network’s scalability.

With developers from the community asked to test the solution and provide necessary feedback, the network’s daily active addresses rose immediately from 409,230 to 494,795. Since then, the number of daily active addresses on Polygon’s PoS chain has continued to soar, rising above 300K to a total of 782,186 in 5 days.

Meanwhile, data from the cryptocurrency analytics platform Nansen suggests that Polygon’s daily active addresses are approaching 1.2 million.
