Veteran market analyst Peter Brandt has slammed MicroStrategy co-founder Michael Saylor for calling on his followers to “believe in Bitcoin (BTC).” In a tweet yesterday, Saylor attached an image of a priest in front of a Bitcoin temple. The popular Bitcoin maxi captioned the photo “Believe in Bitcoin.”

Notably, this type of tweet is part of Saylor’s attempts to promote the widespread adoption of the world’s largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. The image has attracted over 13.5K likes and nearly 1K comments since it went public. While many of Saylor’s followers reaffirmed their belief in Bitcoin, others took to the comments section to slam the former MicroStrategy CEO.

Brandt’s Reaction to Saylor’s Tweet

Interestingly, Brandt is among those who did not find the post funny. The veteran trader referred to Saylor as a “f*olish man” for believing in Bitcoin. Brandt also added a famous scripture from the Bible, Psalms 20:7, which reads: “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD, our GOD.”

However, Brandt twisted the famous passage to include “Bitcoin” to convey his message to Saylor.

“Oh, foolish man. Some men trust in chariots and others in horses, and yet others in bitcoin, but as for me, I will trust in the name of the Lord. Psalms 20.7”

Brandt’s Bitcoin Analysis

Brandt is known for providing market updates for top financial instruments, including crypto and stocks. The veteran market analyst has made several Bitcoin predictions in the past. As reported by TheCryptoBasic, Brandt speculated that BTC would find a bottom at the $13K price level. While Brandt thinks Bitcoin’s bottom is around $13K, the top market analyst believes BTC will still create a new all-time high.
