It’s March 31, Is Ripple Vs. SEC Lawsuit Ruling Coming Today as Predicted?

XRP enthusiasts expect a ruling today following Ripple’s general counsel and lawyer James Filan’s prediction.

Many XRP community members eagerly anticipate a summary judgment ruling in today’s Ripple vs. SEC lawsuit. Recall that top Ripple proponents and stakeholders had speculated that US District Judge Analisa Torres would grant a verdict in the lawsuit today, March 31, 2023. The ruling date was first predicted by former US prosecutor and pro-XRP lawyer James Filan.

Interestingly, Filan’s prediction was backed by Ripple’s general counsel Stuart Alderoty who noted that the lawsuit’s outcome would come by the end of March.

Since the duo has closely followed the case, XRP community members have expressed confidence in their predictions. At press time, there is still no summary judgment ruling in the case.

As the day progresses, XRP supporters have taken to Twitter to ask if Judge Torres’ ruling will be coming today.

If the Judge does not grant summary judgment today, XRP fans will divert their attention to Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse’s prediction. As reported earlier, Garlinghouse predicted that the ruling would come within the first half of this year.

While some XRP proponents are eager to see a ruling today, many hope the summary judgment is granted in Ripple’s favor.

For Alderoty, the summary judgment could end in one of three ways. According to him, the Judge could rule in favor of the SEC, which would prompt the blockchain company to file an appeal. Secondly, Judge Torres could grant summary judgment in Ripple’s favor. Lastly, the case could be sent to trial due to unresolved facts.
