Users Can Now Pre-Order Shiba Inu Cold Wallets As Company Building SHIB Wallets Revealed

Top Shiba Inu team members assert that Tangem is developing SHIB-themed cold wallets. 

Swiss-based cryptocurrency hardware wallet Tangem is reportedly creating unique cold wallets for Shiba Inu (SHIB). In a series of tweets today, top Shiba Inu team members announced the development.  

Shibarium1, a member of Shiba Inu’s development team, first shared the announcement earlier this week. In a follow-up tweet, the Shiba Inu developer urged members of the Shiba Inu community to visit Tangem’s official website to check the wallet’s features and pre-order the Shiba Inu-themed hardware wallet.

Lucie Highlights the Wallet’s Features 

Lucie Sasnikova, a popular Shiba Inu marketing team member, also announced the development. Lucie took to Twitter to share some interesting features of Shiba Inu X Tangem cold wallet. 

According to Lucie, users can store and manage their SHIB tokens and other crypto assets on the new Shiba Inu X Tangem wallet. She added that the new Tangem wallet supports more than 6,000 currencies, including cryptos and fiat. 

Furthermore, Lucie said the wallet would give users quick access to decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized exchanges (DEX), etc. 

The Shiba Inu marketing team member added that the cold wallet is the same size as a credit card, which helps users move around with it. The hardware wallet does not require batteries or cables to function, as all that is needed to use the wallet is your mobile device.

Tangem Yet to Confirm the Development  

Meanwhile, Tangem has not officially announced that it is developing a Shiba Inu-themed hardware wallet. The Crypto Basic could not find any official announcement on Tangem’s website or social media accounts corroborating the story in the hours leading up to press time. We also reached out to the team behind the hardware wallet to confirm the development. At press time, Tangem has not responded to our inquiries. 

It is worth noting that the official Tangem hardware wallet already supports Shiba Inu alongside other crypto assets, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), etc. 

However, it remains to be seen whether Tangem is developing a Shiba Inu-themed hardware wallet.
