Ripple Labs is among the Money20/20 Europe 2023 fintech event sponsors.
San Francisco-based cryptocurrency behemoth Ripple announced that it had sponsored the Money20/20 Europe 2023 event in Amsterdam. The event is scheduled for June 6 – 8, 2023.
Ripple’s CBDC Strategic Advisor, Anthony Welfare, announced on Twitter today. “Ripple is proud to be sponsoring the upcoming Money 20/20 Europe on June 6-8 in Amsterdam,” he disclosed.

Ripple Allotted a Booth at the Event
Although Welfare did not reveal the financial details of the sponsorship, he noted that the blockchain company would have a dedicated booth at A150. Welfare urged event attendees to stop by the booth or contact him directly for directions.
At the booth, attendees will learn more about Ripple’s solutions directly from the company’s execs, including Welfare. Attendees of the event will also have the opportunity of networking with some of the most prominent players in the European fintech industry.
It bears mentioning that the team behind Money20/20 Europe 2023 event also listed Ripple as one of the over 380 sponsors.
Sponsoring the Money20/20 Europe 2023 event comes with its unique benefits. According to the event organizers, all sponsors can display their products and services to thousands of decision-makers, visionaries, press, and influencers.

According to the organizers, the Money20/20 Europe 2023 event differs from all other fintech-related events. The event has enormous buzz and energy, which offers a unique perspective on fintech.
More than 7,500 attendees and over 2,300 companies are expected to attend this year’s event. In addition, over 90 countries will be represented during the Money20/20 Europe 2023 conference.
Event tickets are sold on the official website with a “standard pass” for €3,695 ($3,947.83).
Ripple to Attend Unchain Fintech FestivalÂ
In a related development, Welfare also disclosed that Ripple would attend the Unchain Fintech Festival for the second year. The event will be held on June 29 – 30, 2023, at Oradea Fortress, Transylvania, Romania.
According to Welfare, Ripple will meet with some of Europe’s most exciting banks and fintech companies, including but not limited to Citi, TBI bank, Alpha Bank, and Finshape.
For context, Unchain Fintech Festival brings together the brightest minds in the Central Eastern European (CEE) fintech industry. The agenda for this year’s festival is packed with crucial topics, including CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies), next-level payments, fintech innovation, and regulations, among others.
The recent developments surrounding the Money20/20 and Unchain Fintech events suggest that Ripple is making significant efforts toward expanding its presence in Europe. It is worth noting that the company has been embroiled in a legal battle with the SEC since December 2020.
The ruling judge has not yet made a summary judgment decision on the matter. However, the blockchain company expects the case to be concluded before the end of the year.
