Shiba Inu payments plunge deeper into Europe, as a recent Binance Pay and Lyzi partnership allows over 440 merchants in France to accept crypto.

Binance Pay, Binance’s borderless payment solution, has partnered with Lyzi, a France-based crypto-focused payments app, to allow users to make everyday payments at hundreds of merchants in France and Europe with Shiba Inu (SHIB) and other cryptocurrencies.

Binance announced the partnership in a recent press release, further calling attention to the exciting development through its official Twitter handle.

Information from the press release suggests that users of Binance Pay in France and the rest of Europe can now pay with SHIB and other crypto assets at any merchant connected to the Lyzi payment network. Lyzi has over 440 merchants in Europe, with more than 330 across Europe.

Remarkably, the merchants encompass a diverse range of retail sectors, including pharmacies, electronics stores, bakeries, grocery stores, and others. This extensive assortment of merchants allows Binance Pay users to make crypto payments for their day-to-day purchases.

All the merchants on the Lyzi network are found on the Lyzi payment app, with a map that helps users to identify the merchants closest to them. The list of merchants on the network continues to grow, and the map is updated whenever a new merchant joins.

How to Pay with SHIB at a Lyzi Merchant

To make a Shiba Inu payment to any Lyzi merchant close to you, follow these simple steps:

  • Download and install the Lyzi app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Ensure you don’t download from an unofficial store.
  • Create a Lyzi account if you don’t already have one, and link your Binance account to the Lyzi account.
  • Check the map for the closest merchant that offers the goods or services you need at any given time.
  • The merchant will generate a QR code for the payment, with the price displayed in EUR. Scan the code with your Lyzi app.
  • The Lyzi app will direct you to your Binance app when the code is scanned. Select Shiba Inu as your payment currency and validate the transaction.

Greater Visibility for Shiba Inu

Notably, this development would enhance Shiba Inu’s utility. As more merchants accept Shiba Inu as payment for goods and services, it increases the asset’s visibility and accessibility. Lyzi also has a cashback feature for purchases, making its usage more appealing.

This is the latest partnership inked by Binance Pay that helps bring Shiba Inu payments to multiple merchants. In April, a Binance partnership with CoinGate exposed SHIB to over 200 merchants globally. This year alone, Binance Pay has partnered with Ingenico, Citypay, and Bin Faqeeh, allowing hundreds of merchants accept Shiba Inu.
