Shiba Inu’s lead games consultant is excited about the upcoming Shiba Eternity tournament.
In a recent tweet, Shiba Inu games consultant William Volk commented on the upcoming Shiba Eternity tournament.
Upcoming Shiba Eternity Tournament
According to a recent SHIBARMY.co report, the upcoming Shiba Eternity tournament is scheduled to be held tomorrow, June 24, 2023, at 9 AM (PST).
Per the announcement, the tournament has a prize pool of $2,000. Notably, top Shiba Eternity players are expected to battle it out to win massive cash prizes.
The winner of the tournament will receive a whopping $1,000. Similarly, the first runner-up will be given the sum of $650, while the second runner-up will receive $350.
To join the tournament, players are required to visit the ShibariumTech Discord server and join the gaming community. Registration for the contest is free.
Notably, the tournament welcomes participants from all skill levels, allowing them to compete for the cash prize.
Volk Reacts
Reacting to the development, Shiba Inu’s game consultant seems excited about the tournament. He noted in a tweet today, saying:

Shiba Eternity Tournament
For context, top Shiba Inu community member Brwncow introduced the Shiba Eternity tournament.

Launched in December 2022, the tournament aims to drive the widespread adoption of Shiba Eternity and to help community members connect with each other. Brwncow noted that the tournament would be held monthly.
Notably, the initial prize pool for the tournament was $50 worth of Ryoshi Vision (RYOSHI), and it was donated by a music artist CalvenJ.
Interestingly, Shiba Inu’s lead developer Shytoshi Kusama raised the prize pool to $1,000. Furthermore, Kusama recommended that the tournament be held bi-weekly, twice a month.
Shiba Eternity, launched in October 2022, has continued to grow in popularity. Last month, top SHIB enthusiast Mazrael challenged Binance founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) to a duel on Shiba Eternity.
Mazrael said if CZ loses the competition, Binance will list either LEASH or BONE. However, CZ did not respond to Mazrael’s challenge.
Meanwhile, Shiba Eternity has received significant upgrades since its launch. In March, the game received an update to optimize its memory and performance.
