Top Bitcoiner Davinci Jeremie has dropped a hot take for Shiba Inu (SHIB) ahead of the Shibarium launch, stating that the project is in for something big.
The anticipation for the Shiba Inu layer-2 solution, Shibarium, has elevated dramatically. With the Shibarium mainnet launch fast approaching, numerous crypto experts have weighed in on SHIB’s future. These actions further indicate improved interest in the community-driven project.
Davinci Jeremie is among those contemplating a positive transition for Shiba Inu in the coming months. Citing Shibarium, the crypto educator and early Bitcoin, adopter remarked that “big things are happening for SHIB.” He further indicated that SHIB had entered his watchlist.

Jeremie communicated this bullish opinion over SHIB on Tuesday via a short clip. According to the video, he said:
“Wow, I heard that Shiba Inu is creating a second layer on top of Ethereum to help shed its meme coin stigmatism. That’s awesome. Actually, this is going to be something interesting to watch. It will be live on testnet on Friday, as early as Friday. Let’s see how well that works out because if they accomplish this, it will be something big, especially if their second layer works well. I’ll be interested to watch how this plays out.”
Jeremie recognized Shibarium’s potential to boost SHIB if the layer-2 network worked as expected. His recent viewpoint agrees with the common perception in the Shiba Inu community.
Recall that the project’s marketing specialist, Lucie said hundreds of projects would join the ecosystem post-mainnet launch of Shibarium. Likewise, a panel of Fintech specialists said the project would trigger a rally in SHIB price.
Wen Shibarium?
The precise date for the mainnet launch of Shibarium remains undisclosed to the public. However, SHIB’s lead developer Shytoshi Kusama said the anticipated launch would happen during ETH Toronto.
The Blockchain Futurist Conference is scheduled for August 15 – 16 in Toronto. As reported by The Crypto Basic, Kusama invited Elon Musk to the conference. The invitation came shortly after the Twitter owner mentioned Shiba Inu directly after two years.
Meanwhile, the beta testnet of the layer-2 scaling solution went live in January. Codenamed Puppynet, the testnet has recorded massive interactions from several wallets. At press time, exactly 17,063,400 have engaged with the Shibarium beta testnet. This has taken the total transactions on the network to 34,269,221.
