Shiba Inu Lead Developer Thanks Cardano Founder on Shibarium Launch

Shiba Inu lead developer Kusama thanks Cardano founder Hoskinson for an introduction and confirmation during the Blockchain Futurist Conference.

The two-day Blockchain Futurist Conference held in Toronto concluded yesterday. The epic gathering witnessed the presence of several crypto industry leaders, including Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson.

Shytoshi Kusama recently took to X to tender gratitude to the Cardano founder, while several members of the ShibArmy followed suit.

Particularly, Kusama expressed gratitude to Charles Hoskinson for an “intro and confirmation” at the August meeting without going into deeper details.

Kusama’s disclosure failed to convey the precise comments made by Hoskinson explicitly. Regardless, the community-appointed leader noted that Shiba Inu is striving hard to achieve its vision. “We don’t just talk about it; we are about it,” he remarked. 

The operator of the Unification validator Ringoshi Toitsu joined in appreciating Hoskinson, teasing that he’ll vote the Cardano founder for president.

Notably, Hoskinson was a keynote speaker at the Blockchain Futurist Conference. The ADA creator spoke on “Governance: Building More Inclusive Models.” Hoskinson’s speech came immediately before an announcement of the Summer of Shibarium closing Cabana party at the Conference.

Meanwhile, the Shiba Inu team comprising Marcie Jastrow, Khal Dhairya, Dawa Riley, Terry, and Kusama gave a presentation on “Shibarium & The End Game.” As earlier announced, the lead Shiba Inu developer’s speech was focused on the big picture — SHIB.

Shibarium Mainnet Launches

It bears noting that Shibarium is now live on the mainnet. The Shiba Inu layer-2 scaling solution was finally launched during the Blockchain Futurist Conference as plotted by the team. While this development is yet to impact SHIB’s price, it elicited great elation in the Shiba Inu community.

The strategic project — designed to make transactions effective on the network — could trigger big things for SHIB, top Bitcoiner Davinci Jeremie said. However, as reported by The Crypto Basic, the project’s debut encountered hurdles as 965 ETH got trapped on-chain.
