In a recent tweet, an XRP enthusiast with X username “Cryptoinsightuk” shared a snippet of Ripple’s presentation of Ripple Payments at the just concluded Dubai Swell conference. The presenter was Brendan Berry, Ripple’s Head of Payments Products.

Through the clip, Cryptoinsightuk aimed to illustrate the XRP logo featured in the presentation slide to potentially cement the conviction that Ripple Payments uses XRP.

An X user took a screenshot from Berry’s presentation slide in which the XRP logo was faintly visible. Meanwhile, a prominent figure in the XRP community recently shared deep insights into Ripple Payments, noting XRP’s presence therein

While Ripple has not explicitly affirmed XRP’s place in the new product, the payment firm has disclosed that Ripple Payments has a fresh incorporation with XRP Ledger (XRPL).

On the other hand, according to Berry during the presentation, the highlight of Ripple Payments is its user-friendly approach.

He noted the solution eliminates the need for extensive technical expertise as clients can seamlessly onboard and initiate payments using an intuitive user interface.

In parallel, Berry noted that Ripple Payments contrasts the services provided to larger, licensed institutions that Ripple has traditionally served.

Specifically, he pointed out that while existing customers of Ripple Payments may manage crypto in their workflow with expertise and sophistication, it poses a challenge for smaller corporates lacking such resources and know-how.

Highlighting the significance of Ripple’s latest product capabilities, Berry explained that Ripple Payments can now be managed end-to-end by Ripple itself.

According to him, it allows customers to initiate payments while Ripple abstracts the complexity of handling digital assets and blockchain interactions. The aim is to enable corporate customers, especially smaller ones, to easily transact without becoming crypto experts.
