D3 Global, Shiba Inu domain name partner, is giving away 12 army-themed titles to SHIB community members over the next 21 days.
In preparation for the launch of Shib Names, internet domain startup D3 disclosed that it has started recruiting members of the ShibArmy on its platform.
D3 noted in an X post yesterday that the initiative will allow Shiba Inu community members to secure their rank in the ShibArmy.

D3 Special Giveaway
In view of this, D3 announced a special giveaway package dubbed the ShibArmy Recruitment Campaign. The rationale behind the exercise is to “rally the troops” ahead of the launch of Shib Names, D3 said.
According to the announcement, D3 will give away 12 army-themed Shib Names to Shiba Inu community members over the next three weeks from January 29, 2024, at 08:00 (PT) to February 19, 2024, at 08:00 (PT).
Interestingly, D3 announced six methods of entry into the ShibArmy Recruitment Campaign. While the first and second methods will take place in the first week, the third and fourth methods will commence in the second week. Also, the last two methods (fifth and sixth) will open in the third week.
Despite outlining six methods of entry, D3 noted that performing each task during the promotion period does not guarantee a participant’s chances of winning.
“Your chances of winning are the same regardless of the method of entry,” D3 noted.
To participate in the exercise, interested participants are required to perform different social tasks, including following D3’s account on X, retweeting the giveaway post, as well as commenting under the post why and when they joined the ShibArmy.
Prize Pool
Potential winners will be contacted once the giveaway campaign ends and will be required to sign up for a D3 account to claim the prize.
Notably, the prizes will be in the form of 12 army-themed Shiba Names. They include private*shib, officer*shib, soldier*shib, scout*shib, corporal*shib, sergeant*shib, lieutenant*shib, major*shib, colonel*shib, brigadier*shib, general*shib, and commander*shib.
Each of these titles will have a USD equivalent at the end of the giveaway. As of January 29, 2024, there is no retail value of the aforementioned prizes.
Potential winners will be contacted on the X platform, and the prizes will be distributed within 4 to 8 weeks of their verification. Additionally, winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility in order to show that they are eligible for the exercise.
D3 and Shiba Inu Partnership
The announcement comes weeks after the Shiba Inu ecosystem team and D3 entered into a partnership to obtain a .shib top-level domain name.
As reported earlier, the initiative will simplify the process of sending and receiving digital assets. Ahead of the launch of Shib Name, SHIB holders can sign up for early to secure their unique name.
