The official Shiba Inu X account has demonstrated how to bridge BONE tokens from the Ethereum mainnet to the Shibarium layer-2 network.
Recently, the Shiba Inu team released a quick guide showing community members how they could bridge their Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) tokens between Ethereum and Shibarium. They carried out the demonstration through a short video posted on the official X account.

Bridging BONE from Ethereum to Shiba Inu’s Shibarium
Per the video, the foremost requirement is owning some BONE tokens in Web3 wallets such as MetaMask. With this first requirement checked, the next step is navigating to the secure Shiba Inu bridge portal at https://shibarium.shib.io/bridge through a web browser.
Upon reaching the authentic portal, users should link their wallets to the Shibarium bridge site. The “Connect” button is in the site’s upper right-hand corner. Upon successful connection, the balances within one’s wallet become accessible through the Shibarium bridge portal.
Accordingly, users can input the desired amount of BONE tokens they wish to transfer from Ethereum to Shibarium and then click the “Transfer” button. Upon clicking, a brief notice appears, informing users about what is possible and what is not through the Shibarium bridge portal.
Specifically, it states that users cannot delegate or stake on the Shibarium Network. However, such functionality is accessible via the Ethereum Mainnet. On the other hand, transferring funds between the Shiba Inu blockchain and Ethereum is feasible.
Significantly, after initiating the transfer from Ethereum to Shibarium, users will be prompted to authorize the transaction through their wallet.
Moreover, the video demonstration indicates that two transactions are involved in the deposit process. Consequently, the estimated time for the bridging process to complete is 20 minutes.
Upon successful completion, users interested in viewing the network on the MetaMask wallet can navigate to chain.shibrpc.com and add MetaMask.
