Though he gave no direct hint, community members speculated that the significant event could be related to the final court judgment in the four-year lawsuit between Ripple and the SEC. Legal experts believe the judgment could be delivered this week or by July 31.
The conclusion of this litigation is expected to impact XRP substantially, as it would remove any remaining perceived barriers to its adoption.
