From Zero to Hero: Shiba Inu Surges 150,000,000% in Just Four Years

The team behind the Shiba Inu ecosystem celebrates its fourth birthday, highlighting its remarkable growth over the years.

According to an X post from Shiba Inu’s marketing lead Lucie, SHIB has witnessed an outstanding gain of 150,000,000% (150 million percent) since its launch on August 1, 2020.

Specifically, Lucie said the dog-themed token grew from its initial price of $0.000000000056 to an all-time high of $0.00008616, marking an incredible 150 million percent increase. Notably, Lucie characterized this remarkable growth as a testament to Shiba Inu’s potential, transitioning many investors from “rags to riches.” 

However, SHIB, which trades at $0.00001554, is currently down 82.48% from its ATH, attained on October 28, 2021. 

Other Inspiring Achievements 

Besides the tremendous surge in Shiba Inu’s price, Lucie also highlighted other notable achievements. The marketing lead stated that Shiba Inu, which initially started as a memecoin inspired by the Dogecoin craze, has successfully transformed into a symbol of community spirit and innovation. 

Based on this remarkable transformation, Lucie asserted that anything is possible with passion and perseverance within the crypto space.  

She also highlighted the significant growth of the community, which boasts over 3.8 million members. According to Lucie, these members are more than just investors; they are a passionate family dedicated to driving the project’s success. The vibrant community has been instrumental in propelling SHIB’s growth, as reflected in the adoption of Shibarium. 

Additionally, Lucie said over the past four years, Shiba Inu has evolved into a multi-faceted ecosystem featuring projects like ShibaSwap, Shibarium, and Shiboshis. 

Shiba Inu Charitable Deeds and Growing Institutional Interest 

Also, Lucie mentioned SHIB’s role in charitable deeds. In particular, she recounted how Ethereum’s co-founder Vitalik Buterin donated $1 billion worth of SHIB to combat the devastating effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in India.

This donation came after Shiba Inu’s pseudonymous founder, Ryoshi, gifted Buterin 50% of SHIB’s total supply. While 10% of these tokens were donated to charities, Buterin burned the remaining tokens, totaling 410 trillion. 

Furthermore, Lucie acknowledged the growing interest in SHIB among institutional investors. According to her, some of these investors project that SHIB could hit a target of $0.001 by 2025. Hitting the $0.001 target requires SHIB to surge 6,339% from its current price. 

The marketing expert also noted that SHIB has received widespread media recognition, leading to its global adoption for payments.
