Bitcoin Recovers but Remains Below Falling Daily Averages

Bitcoin closed Sunday at $78,239.20, gaining 1.04% after trading between $77,385.80 and $78,415.50. The session established a higher high and higher low than Saturday, extending the recovery from Friday’s $76,155.50 low. However, the $79,120.80 support lost in our October 30 report remained overhead.

BTC Price Analysis 2026 11 02
BTC/USD forms a higher daily high and low but remains below falling 20-day and 50-day EMAs near $80,381 and $80,302.

The 20-day exponential moving average fell to $80,380.72 from $80,606.14, while the 50-day EMA declined to $80,302.25 from $80,386.46. Price stayed beneath both. The faster average remained slightly above the slower one, so a bearish crossover had not occurred on a completed daily candle.

Short-term conditions were stronger. The latest completed four-hour candle closed at $78,515.30, above its 20-period EMA at $78,132.05 but below the 50-period EMA at $79,113.26. That leaves the longer four-hour average close to the broken $79,120.80 floor.

A daily close above Friday’s $78,667.30 high would improve the rebound, followed by a reclaim of $79,120.80. The daily averages near $80,302–$80,381 are the next broader test. Losing Sunday’s $77,385.80 low would weaken the higher-low sequence; support then sits at $77,000 and $76,155.50. A close below the latter would invalidate the immediate recovery base.

Ethereum’s Bearish MACD Gap Narrows as Price Reclaims $2,279.80

Ethereum closed Sunday at $2,272.35, up 0.88%, after a $2,245.34–$2,274.69 session. That confirmed a close above the $2,258.80 recovery threshold identified in Saturday’s report. The latest $2,306.29 price was 3.05% above the price recorded in that edition.

ETH Price Analysis 2026 11 02
ETH/USD daily MACD remains bearish, but its histogram narrows to −8.87 as the four-hour recovery clears $2,279.80.

Daily MACD, using 12- and 26-period exponential averages and a nine-period signal EMA, showed easing bearish momentum. The line stood at −70.35 against a −61.48 signal. The histogram narrowed below zero to −8.87 from −11.64. This was an improvement within an existing bearish signal, not a bullish daily crossover.

The four-hour chart had already confirmed a line-signal bullish crossover on the candle ending October 31 at 20:00 UTC. Its latest histogram increased to +8.30, while the completed candle closed at $2,306.14, above $2,279.80. The short-term reclaim is confirmed; Monday’s unfinished daily candle has not yet confirmed it on the daily timeframe.

Holding $2,279.80 and clearing $2,319.54 would strengthen the recovery toward $2,376.99–$2,389.93. A return below $2,274.69 would weaken the latest breakout. Support then lies at $2,245.34 and $2,233.75, ahead of Friday’s $2,170 low. A daily close beneath $2,170 would invalidate the recovery from that low.

Injective Holds Above $6.90 With RSI Still Below Neutral

Injective closed Sunday at $7.183, slipping 0.44% after trading between $6.996 and $7.429. Both the high and low were beneath Saturday’s levels. Price remained above Friday’s $6.900 low, but the latest session did not establish a convincing reversal of the decline from October’s highs.

INJ Price Analysis 2026 11 02
INJ/USD holds above $6.900 while daily RSI slips to 42.27, leaving $7.429 and $7.552 as nearby resistance.

The daily 14-period RSI, calculated with Wilder smoothing, eased to 42.27 from 42.64. It stayed below the neutral 50 level and above the conventional oversold threshold of 30. That indicates weak momentum without an oversold reading that would, by itself, establish a buying signal.

The last completed four-hour candle closed at $7.242, with RSI at 45.99. Short-term momentum was stronger than the daily reading but also remained below neutral. The latest $7.23 price was still below Sunday’s high.

A daily close above $7.429 would break the latest lower high. Saturday’s $7.552 high comes next, followed by the $7.676–$7.687 area formed by the October 28 and October 27 lows. Those former supports are potential recovery obstacles. Losing $6.996 would put $6.900 back under pressure; a daily close below $6.900 would confirm a fresh low for the latest 20-session range and invalidate the current stabilization attempt.

Hyperliquid Consolidates Inside Its Bollinger Bands

Hyperliquid closed Sunday at $87.78, down 0.11%, in an $86.53–$88.58 range entirely inside Saturday’s session. The consolidation followed Thursday’s surge to $97.00 and Friday’s lower $93.87 high. Price still held above the $82.45 breakout level discussed in our October 30 report.

HYPE Price Analysis 2026 11 02
HYPE/USD consolidates inside its Bollinger Bands, above the rising $81.15 midpoint but below the $89.27 upper boundary.

Daily Bollinger Bands, using a 20-day simple moving average and two population standard deviations, placed the midpoint at $81.15 and the upper band at $89.27. The midpoint rose from $80.80. HYPE had closed above its upper band on Thursday and Friday, then returned inside on Saturday and remained there Sunday.

That leaves price above a rising daily midpoint, while the strongest part of the expansion has cooled. The latest completed four-hour close of $88.50 remained below its $88.89 midpoint. HYPE’s 24-hour gain and Sunday’s slight decline cover different periods.

A daily close above $88.58 would clear the inside-day high. The upper-band area and Saturday’s $90.04 high are the next tests, followed by $93.87 and $97.00. A break below $86.53 and $86.19 would weaken consolidation and expose $82.45. Losing that former breakout level would undermine the recovery toward the daily midpoint. Band values will change with subsequent closes.

Uniswap Advances on Above-Average Daily Volume

Uniswap closed Sunday at $7.2052, gaining 1.98%, after reaching $7.3929 and finding support at $6.9852. The session produced a higher high and higher low than Saturday. However, the close remained just beneath Saturday’s $7.2198 high, leaving part of Sunday’s intraday advance unconfirmed at the close.

UNI Price Analysis 2026 11 02
UNI/USD gains 1.98% on volume 28% above its preceding 20-session average, with $7.3929 and $7.5149 still overhead.

Daily turnover reached 661,181 UNI, compared with an average of 515,478 UNI over the preceding 20 completed sessions. Participation was therefore about 28% above that benchmark and 35% above Saturday’s volume. This supports the observation that Sunday’s advance attracted more trading, although it does not guarantee a sustained breakout.

The latest completed four-hour candle closed at $7.2866, above $7.2198 but below Sunday’s high. That improves the short-term structure without establishing a daily close above the latest resistance.

A daily close above $7.3929 would strengthen the recovery toward the October 29 high at $7.5149. Clearing that level would bring the October 21 high of $7.7924 into view. A return beneath $6.9852 would weaken Sunday’s higher-low formation; losing $6.8688 would expose the recent $6.2519–$6.2577 base. A daily close below that base would invalidate the rebound despite Sunday’s stronger volume.
