From Wall Street to Crypto: Trading Earnings Season With PrimeXBT Tokenised Stocks

Tesla recorded a $288 million paper gain on Bitcoin last quarter. It’s in the third-quarter results, next to a $142 million paper loss on its stake in SpaceX.

It isn’t the only earnings report with a crypto angle. Robinhood just reported crypto revenue down 55% on a year ago, and Circle, the company behind the USDC stablecoin, reports on 4th November.

Beyond their implications for crypto markets, these earnings reports are creating new opportunities for crypto traders. With PrimeXBT’s recently launched Tokenised Stock Crypto Futures, traders can access price movements linked to companies such as Tesla, SpaceX and NVIDIA while staying crypto-native.

Recent earnings reports have already triggered mixed market reactions, with more closely watched announcements still to come.

What Tesla, SpaceX, Robinhood, Alphabet and Apple just reported

Tesla. Tesla delivered 486,532 vehicles and reported revenue of $28.05 billion, broadly in line with expectations. Adjusted earnings per share of 48 cents beat forecasts, but higher spending weighed on profitability. Finance chief Vaibhav Taneja described the period as a “huge investment cycle to set us up for the future”. Shares initially gained 3.4% on news of a possible Tesla–SpaceX merger, before falling 3.1% following the earnings release.

SpaceX. SpaceX had the stronger quarter. Revenue reached $14.58 billion, ahead of expectations, while earnings per share of 35 cents also beat forecasts. Starlink sales rose 69%, while the AI business grew faster still, with revenue rising to $7.6 billion from $2.6 billion in the previous quarter. The next Starship flight is expected in November.

Robinhood. Robinhood’s crypto revenue fell 55% to $120 million, even as prediction markets continued to grow. Overall revenue and earnings fell short of expectations, sending shares down 7.4% in after-hours trading. The results highlighted the contrast between Robinhood’s expanding prediction markets business and weaker crypto trading activity.

Alphabet. Alphabet’s cloud business doubled, yet shares still fell about 10% after hours. Google Cloud revenue rose 103% to $30.7 billion, but earnings missed forecasts as investment losses and heavy spending weighed on results. Free cash flow turned negative following substantial capital expenditure, while finance chief Anat Ashkenazi warned that spending would “increase significantly” in 2027. Investors appeared more concerned about the cost of AI expansion than the strong cloud growth.

Apple. Apple reported on 2nd November that revenue rose 12% to $114.5 billion, a record for the September quarter and ahead of its own guidance for 9% to 11% growth. Earnings per share rose 14% to $2.10, including a 5-cent benefit from tariff refunds. iPhone revenue rose 17% to $57.6 billion, and Services reached an all-time high of $31.6 billion.

Three shares fell following their earnings reports. Tesla beat earnings expectations but declined the next day, while Robinhood and Alphabet also came under pressure. Traders were looking beyond the headline numbers, focusing on Tesla’s investment plans, Robinhood’s weaker crypto revenue and Alphabet’s rising AI spending.

Why the timing matters

Most of these reports come out after the US market closes, which is evening in Europe and the middle of the night in Asia. Regular trading resumes the following morning, when much of the initial market reaction may already be reflected in prices.

Crypto markets run differently, throughout  the night and all weekend, and Tokenised Stocks work the same way, so a trader can act on a report the evening it comes out. Alphabet showed why on 28th October: its shares lost about 10% after the close, hours before the next US session.

Worth noting is that with fewer people trading outside US hours, prices can jump on very little volume and orders can fill at worse prices than expected, which increases the importance of managing position sizes and trading risk.

Circle reports on 4th November, and it is the one most crypto traders will follow, as the company behind USDC. NVIDIA is due on 17th November, after guiding to $108 billion in revenue for the quarter, up from $96.2 billion in the one before.

How PrimeXBT Tokenised Stocks work

For crypto traders looking to act on these earnings-driven market movements, PrimeXBT has introduced Tokenised Stocks as a new category of Crypto Futures on its native PXTrader 2.0 platform. These derivatives provide exposure to company-linked price movements without ownership of the underlying shares. The offering includes SpaceX (SPCX/USDT), NVIDIA (NVDA/USDT), Tesla (TSLA/USDT), Circle (CRCL/USDT), Apple (AAPL/USDT), Alphabet (GOOGL/USDT) and Robinhood (HOOD/USDT). A trader can go long or short at any hour, including when US stock exchanges are shut.

Jonatan Randin, Senior Market Analyst at PrimeXBT, said the launch comes as “Big Tech remains at the centre of market attention”, with Tokenised Stocks “opening up new opportunities to crypto traders”.

One of the main advantages for crypto traders is the ability to access these markets without converting their holdings into fiat, as accounts can be held in USDT, USDC, BTC or ETH. PrimeXBT also offers an integrated crypto exchange feature, allowing traders to convert their crypto holdings into supported account currencies directly within the platform.

Trading conditions are also designed to support different trading strategies. Tokenised Stocks sit within the Crypto Futures category on the platform, where fees start from just 0.01% maker and 0.045% taker. High-volume traders can benefit from the broker’s VIP program and pay less, with fees starting at just 0.015% at VIP level 5. New clients automatically receive the VIP 4 pricing for their first 14 days, which cuts taker fees by 33%. The platform also integrates TradingView charts and supports stop-loss and take-profit orders to help traders analyse markets and manage risk.

With earnings season continuing and major reports still ahead, crypto traders following Tesla, SpaceX or NVIDIA can now trade futures linked to these companies alongside Bitcoin and more than 170 other Crypto Futures, all from the same platform.
