Leading U.S. Wealth Manager Reports XRP ETF Exposure with SEC

UMB Private Wealth Management has disclosed a position in the Franklin XRP ETF (XRPZ) in its Q3 2026 filing with the U.S. SEC.

The Kansas City-based firm reported XRPZ shares worth $100,316 as of Sept. 30, 2026. The disclosure adds UMB to the list of traditional financial institutions with reported exposure to XRP through regulated investment products.

UMB’s Q3 2026 Regulatory Filing

For context, Form 13F requires institutional investment managers with more than $100 million in assets under management to report their long positions in U.S. equities every quarter.

In its Q3 2026 filing, UMB Private Wealth Management listed the Franklin XRP ETF among its holdings for the period ended Sept. 30, 2026, reporting a market value of $100,316.

While the amount may seem small compared to the overall XRP ETF market, the disclosure confirms a record of UMB’s exposure to XRP through a regulated investment product.

This option also makes it easier to increase exposure if demand grows. However, the filing does not clarify whether UMB invested its own funds or reported investments it manages for clients.

The Franklin XRP ETF

Franklin Templeton launched the Franklin XRP ETF on NYSE Arca on November 24, 2025. The fund operates as a passively managed grantor trust that holds XRP directly and tracks the CME CF XRP-Dollar Reference Rate.

During Q3 2026, XRPZ recorded $90.64 million in net inflows. By early September 2026, its cumulative lifetime subscriptions had reached approximately $473 million, while its net flows over the previous 12 months stood at around $302 million.

According to market data, XRPZ currently holds $392 million in assets, with XRP making up 100% of its portfolio. The fund has 13.45 million shares outstanding and trades at $14.48. Its 12-month price range stood between $12.38 and $26.09,

Wall Street’s Expanding XRP ETF Footprint

UMB joins several traditional financial firms that have reported holdings in XRP ETFs. AdvisorNet Financial’s Q3 2026 Form 13F disclosed 12,380 shares of the Franklin XRP ETF, worth approximately $177,800.

Separately, Bloomberg Intelligence’s review of Q2 2026 filings valued Goldman Sachs’ XRP ETF exposure at $87.4 million. This placed Goldman Sachs ahead of Jane Street Group and Millennium Management as the largest known institutional holder of U.S. spot XRP ETFs.

Morgan Stanley‘s latest Form 13F also showed holdings across three XRP ETFs. The firm reported 6,715 shares of the Franklin XRP ETF, 255 shares of the REX-Osprey XRP ETF, and 67 shares of the Bitwise XRP ETF.

Aggregate Form 13F data shows that at least 30 major institutions, including Millennium Management and Citadel, now have reported exposure to XRP ETFs. These filings indicate that established financial firms are using regulated products to access the XRP market.

XRP ETF Performance

The performance of these ETFs shows evidence of increasing demand. U.S. spot XRP ETFs attracted more than $307.87 million in net inflows during Q3 2026. August brought in $159.18 million, making it the strongest month of the quarter, while September recorded approximately $121.40 million in net inflows.

By early September 2026, cumulative net subscriptions across all U.S. spot XRP ETFs had reached around $1.68 billion. Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ accounted for approximately $473 million of that amount.

XRP also recorded a strong price gain during the quarter. Its price rose by more than 45% in Q3 2026, moving from around $1.04 on July 1 to $1.51 on Sept. 30. Continued ETF inflows may have supported this increase, although the figures alone do not show how much of the rally came directly from ETF demand.

The positive flow trend continued into October. As of the reporting period, U.S. spot XRP ETFs had attracted another $10 million in net inflows during October 2026, despite investors across the wider market moving toward more defensive positions.
