XRP Nears Fourth Correction After Two Previous Cycles Led to Strong Rallies

Analyst EGRAG has suggested that XRP is approaching a fourth corrective stage that preceded bullish price expansions in two previous market cycles.

In a post on X, the analyst compared XRP’s two-week chart across three periods: 2018–2020, 2021–2024, and 2025–2026. He argued that the price action appears to be repeating a historical pattern, although the current cycle has yet to confirm the anticipated reversal.

XRP is trading at $1.33, up 2.45% over the past 24 hours but down 6.61% over the past month, according to CoinMarketCap data.

XRP Repeats Historical Pattern

EGRAG’s analysis identifies four corrective stages in the 2018–2020 cycle before XRP’s subsequent bullish expansion. He also highlights a similar four-stage structure between 2021 and 2024, which preceded another major price advance.

The analyst is now examining whether XRP’s 2025–2026 price action is approaching a comparable fourth stage.

The two-week chart shows XRP declining from its 2025 highs as it moves toward a cluster of technical levels around $1.06 to $1.25.

EGRAG’s latest setup marks the fourth stage near the descending trendline. The next move depends on whether the token can regain bullish momentum.

However, the analyst stressed that the fourth stage is not confirmed until the chart structure reverses and bullish momentum returns.

The historical comparisons therefore represent a potential scenario rather than confirmation that another breakout is imminent.

XRP 100 SMA and 200 SMA Define Key Support Levels

Meanwhile, EGRAG identified the 100-period simple moving average (SMA), shown in cyan, and the 200-period SMA, shown in red, as key levels to monitor on the two-week chart.

The chart places XRP near $1.30, with the 100 SMA around the $1.06 region and the 200 SMA near the lower end of the support zone.

These moving averages will determine whether the current correction is stabilizing or extending.

Specifically, EGRAG identified $1.06–$1.25 as a support range. If XRP loses this area, the next downside level in his analysis is $0.92, corresponding to the 0.618 Fibonacci level marked on the chart.

EGRAG’s XRP Price Targets Stretch From $1.67 to $31.87

Meanwhile, on the upside, EGRAG’s Fibonacci roadmap identifies $1.67, $2.40, and $3.57 as successive price levels to watch.

The $1.67 area represents the first major milestone in the analyst’s roadmap. A move toward $2.40 would mark a stronger recovery, while $3.57 sits near the previous major peak region shown on the chart.

Beyond those levels, EGRAG’s macro-expansion projections extend much higher, with targets at $9.36, $15.47, and $31.87.

Notably, these are longer-term projections, not near-term price expectations, and the chart does not show that XRP will reach them.

But at the moment, XRP needs to maintain support between $1.06 and $1.25 to reverse its declining structure. Until that happens, EGRAG’s proposed fourth stage remains a developing technical setup.
