The latest addition to the Shiba Inu ecosystem is an application its developers hail as “a gateway to something extraordinary.”
Shiba Inu developers are building a new app dubbed the Shiba Hub. According to an update shared by Shiba Inu’s lead marketing strategist, Lucie, the new application is “a gateway to something extraordinary.”
It will integrate with the newly launched Shibarium network and aim to revolutionize the community experience for SHIB enthusiasts.

The Shiba Inu marketing lead stopped short of revealing many details about the app or a potential launch date. However, Lucie did disclose enough information to leave the Shiba Inu community speculating on exactly what the Shiba Hub brings to the ecosystem.
Is Shiba Hub Part of the SHIB Metaverse?
A teaser video accompanying the announcement hints at Shiba Hub being a component of the Shibarium Metaverse. It notes that Shiba Inu’s planned metaverse project is one thing that differentiates “SHIB from everything else.”
Then, it mentions that the Shiba Hub will be a “super app” that will make it easy for users who cannot access Shibarium’s high-end metaverse environment to interact with other community members.
Regarding the role that such an app will play, the teaser video explains that, just as all decentralized communities require a common location, the Shiba Hub will function as this common central point on Shibarium.
The app is purportedly built around users’ day-to-day needs and allows for a custom Shibarium experience. Users can customize the app by choosing their favorite features, protocols, projects, people, and dApps to enjoy an experience where they are the central point.
The Shiba Hub would also provide a builder featuring a drag-and-drop module for the decentralized army to build “experiences that integrate with self-sovereign identity, blockchain, and other bespoke dApps on the hub.”
While the latest update does not specify a launch timeline for Shiba Hub, one thing that seems evident is that the Shiba Hub app would largely be integrated with the project’s growing ecosystem.
Lucie urged all SHIB enthusiasts to watch out for an “incredible graphic that is coming to Shibarium,” with perhaps more details on the team’s plans for Shiba Hub.
