Institutional investors increased their exposure to Strategy in the second quarter of 2026, with Goldman Sachs and Capital International Investors accounting for the largest increases among the company’s largest shareholders, according to 13F data disclosed by Strategy.
Specifically, Goldman Sachs expanded its MSTR position by about $407 million, while Capital International Investors increased its holdings by roughly $364 million. BlackRock Asset Management Ireland added around $98 million.
Overall, 12 of Strategy’s 15 largest institutional shareholders increased their positions during the quarter, raising the combined value of their holdings by about $1.2 billion from the previous quarter. Capital Research Global Investors and UBS were among the minority that cut their stakes.
The institutional positioning comes as Strategy holds more than 840,000 Bitcoin on its balance sheet as of August 2026, making it the world’s largest corporate holder of the cryptocurrency.
