Hackers linked to the Lazarus Group transferred 121.5 Bitcoin, valued at approximately $7.74 million at the time of the transfer, on July 30, according to blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain.
The transaction was identified through on-chain records. The report did not indicate the purpose of the transfer or whether the receiving wallet is associated with an exchange, over-the-counter desk, or another entity.
The Lazarus Group, a North Korea-linked hacking organization, has been tied by U.S. authorities and blockchain investigators to multiple cryptocurrency thefts in recent years. It was not immediately clear whether the funds were connected to a specific incident.
