$285M Drift Protocol Exploit Wallet Reactivates After Three Months, Sends ETH to Tornado Cash

Quick Thinking Poolz Finance Takes Swift Action To Frustrate Hackers Protect Its Community

A wallet linked to the roughly $285 million Drift Protocol exploit on Solana has begun moving funds after three months of inactivity, sending Ethereum through Tornado Cash in rapid 100 ETH batches.

On-chain data shows multiple deposits into the Tornado Cash Router within minutes. The transfers are the first recorded movements from the address since the April exploit.

This latest activity indicates the attacker has begun moving at least part of the stolen funds through the Ethereum-based privacy protocol.
