4 Bitcoin Traders Take $249 Million in Short Positions as BTC Falls Below $65,000

Bitcoin traders opened large leveraged positions on both sides of the market as BTC fell below $65,000, with four traders holding short positions totaling 3,895 BTC and two holding long positions totaling 1,547 BTC.

The short positions were worth a combined $249.4 million, with liquidation prices at $66,281.28, $64,600.83, $66,545.09 and $66,305.03.

The two long positions were valued at a combined $99.08 million. Their liquidation levels stood at $61,200.15 and $61,831.74.

Bitcoin was trading at $64,102 at the time of the update, down 1.6% over the previous 24 hours.
