Bitcoin Miner Riot Signs $9.1 Billion Data Center Deal With Anthropic

Anthropic has agreed to a 20-year, $9.1 billion data-center contract with Riot Platforms for 191 megawatts of computing capacity at Riot’s Rockdale campus in Texas.

The contracted capacity is expected to be fully operational by June 2028.

The agreement includes two five-year extension options that could increase the total contract value to about $16.1 billion.
