
Bitcoin returned above $78,000 as a four-day run of inflows into U.S. spot crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) continued, with the latest session bringing $606 million into Bitcoin ETFs and $221 million into Ethereum ETFs.
The move above the key price level capped a 21.2% advance for Bitcoin over the past seven days. The Aug. 20 ETF flows extended Bitcoin funds’ run of positive daily net subscriptions to a fourth session.
Demand was also positive across spot Ethereum ETFs, which posted their fourth consecutive day of net inflows after attracting $221 million on Aug. 20.
Ethereum advanced alongside Bitcoin, rising 26.6% over the past week and moving above the $2,400 level.
