Bitcoin Whale Moves 16,400 BTC After Seven Months of Inactivity

A Bitcoin whale identified as bc1qpt transferred its entire 16,400 BTC balance, valued at approximately $1.04 billion, to a new wallet in a single transaction about an hour ago, according to blockchain data. 

The wallet had been inactive for roughly seven months, and the reason behind the transfer is unknown.
