Bithumb, South Korea’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange, said it aims to complete an initial public offering (IPO) in 2028 and plans to file for a preliminary listing review in 2027.
As part of its IPO preparations, the company is strengthening its internal controls, transitioning its accounting framework to Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS), and restructuring its business operations.
Bithumb said the proposed listing schedule remains subject to change depending on market conditions and the outcome of the regulatory review process.
