BitMart Processes No Withdrawals for 8 Hours After Announcing Wind-Down

BitMart has processed no on-chain withdrawal transactions in the past eight hours following its announcement that it will wind down its trading platform, according to blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain, even as the exchange says withdrawals remain available throughout the closure process.

Over the past 24 hours, only 58 wallets have withdrawn funds from the exchange, with total outflows of approximately $805,000, indicating relatively limited withdrawal activity following the announcement.

Earlier, BitMart said it will suspend new registrations and deposits on July 26, 2026, halt trading and earn products on August 26, 2026, and complete the platform’s closure on January 31, 2027. The exchange has advised users to withdraw their assets before the final shutdown.
