BlackRock’s spot cryptocurrency ETFs recorded contrasting investor flows this week, with clients pulling money from its Bitcoin fund while adding fresh capital to its Ethereum product, according to blockchain analytics platform Arkham.
Data shared by Arkham shows investors have withdrawn a net $60 million from BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) so far this week. Over the same period, BlackRock’s Ethereum fund attracted more than $20 million in net inflows, signaling a shift in investor allocation between the two largest digital assets.
The change in fund flows comes as cryptocurrency prices softened. Bitcoin (BTC) fell 2.2% over the past week and was trading at $64,415 at the time of writing. Ethereum (ETH) was comparatively resilient, declining less than 1% during the same period to $1,911.
