BlackRock Cuts IBIT Bitcoin Conversion Minimum From $25M to $1M

BlackRock has lowered the amount of Bitcoin required for holders seeking to convert BTC in kind into its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) to $1 million.

Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas reported the change, which reduces the previous $25 million requirement.

Robbie Mitchnick, who leads BlackRock’s digital-assets business, said the company hopes to continue lowering the threshold and ultimately remove transaction-size restrictions on the mechanism.
