Circle Mints $5 Billion in USDC in One Week

USDC issuance accelerated over the past seven days, with Circle minting $5 billion of the stablecoin during the period, blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain reported.

USDC currently has a market capitalization of $73.62 billion, according to CoinGecko.

The figures put the latest minting activity at roughly 6.8% of USDC’s current market capitalization.
