Coldcard Hacker Active Again, Moves $1.94M in Bitcoin to New Wallet

A hacker linked to the Coldcard theft has moved 30.185 Bitcoin (BTC), worth about $1.94 million, to a new wallet, according to blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain.

Lookonchain reported that the funds were transferred to an address beginning with “bc1qez” roughly an hour before its update.

The latest transaction follows an earlier assessment from Galaxy Research that losses connected to the Coldcard hack may have totaled 2,055 BTC, valued at about $130 million.

More than 7,700 victim addresses were affected by the incident, according to an earlier report by The Crypto Basic.
