Cosmos Labs Advises EVM Chains to Halt Networks Amid Security Incident

Cosmos Labs has advised Cosmos EVM networks it contacted to pause their networks while security teams work to contain an unresolved vulnerability affecting users.

Details remain limited. Cosmos Labs has not identified the impacted chains, disclosed the nature of the vulnerability, or reported the extent of any losses. Its security and engineering teams are handling the incident, with a post-mortem planned once the issue has been resolved.

The response follows separate Cosmos EVM-related security incidents that disrupted MANTRA and KiiChain.

MANTRA’s mainnet was offline for roughly 30 hours following the incident. KiiChain said attackers exploited the vulnerability 18 times and moved about 148.3 million KII.
