Crypto Whale Extends Ethereum Buying Spree With $7.4 Million Purchase

A cryptocurrency whale identified as 0x2684 acquired an additional 3,960 Ethereum (ETH) worth about $7.4 million in a single transaction executed roughly three hours ago, according to blockchain transaction data.

The latest purchase brings the wallet’s cumulative Ethereum acquisitions since June 30 to 79,216 ETH, purchased for approximately $140.77 million at an average price of $1,777 per token.

During the same period, the wallet also accumulated 1,400 Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) valued at $89.44 million, with an average purchase price of $63,887 per WBTC.

At the time of writing, Ethereum was trading at $1,905, up 1.8% over the previous 24 hours, while Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) was trading at $64,645, up 1% over the same period.
