Crypto Whales Sell $51M in Bitcoin and Ethereum as Prices Surge

Two large cryptocurrency holders sold a combined $51.19 million in Bitcoin and Ethereum, locking in gains as prices of the two largest cryptocurrencies rose sharply. 

A whale identified as 0x4cee sold 5,250 ETH worth $11.76 million, realizing a $1.76 million profit, according to the latest update.

Separately, an address identified as bc1qqt sold 550 BTC valued at $39.43 million and realized a $4.5 million profit.

The sales came as Bitcoin climbed 11.4% over the previous 24 hours to $71,835, while Ethereum gained 18.5% to $2,283 at the time of this writing.
