CZ Says ‘All Assets Should Be Tokenized’

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, commonly known as CZ, said all assets should be tokenized, arguing that tokenization could help countries raise capital and attract foreign direct investment (FDI).

Zhao said countries and companies have incentives to offer tokenized shares to investors globally, expanding their potential access to capital.

He also backed advancing tokenization across all blockchains rather than concentrating activity on a single network. While such an approach could fragment liquidity, Zhao said parallel efforts by multiple participants would allow the industry to expand more quickly.

Greater fungibility among assets issued by different entities could help reduce some of that liquidity fragmentation, he said.
