CZ Says Every Country Will Eventually Need Its Own Stablecoin

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, said communication with regulators is essential to the development of the blockchain industry as demand for more efficient digital payment infrastructure grows.

Speaking in an interview at the ASEAN Tech Summit, Zhao said stablecoins could become an important part of the digital economy, particularly for cross-border payments and applications involving artificial intelligence.

Zhao also said he expects countries eventually to develop their own stablecoins to support their domestic digital finance ecosystems.
