Dormant Ethereum Wallet Sells 2,250 ETH Worth $4.15M After Three Years

An early Ethereum investor sold 2,250 ETH valued at approximately $4.15 million after remaining inactive for three years, according to blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain.

The wallet “0x0874” accumulated the Ethereum more than eight years ago at an average purchase price of about $489 per token, data shared by Lookonchain showed.

At the time of the transaction, Ethereum was trading at $1,855, representing a 47% decline over the past 12 months.
