Eliza OS Founder Says Eliza Token Is Dead, Foundation Being Wound Down

The Eliza token is effectively defunct, according to Eliza OS founder Shaw Walters, who said the project’s foundation is being wound down and that he no longer owns or supports any tokens. He advised holders to decide for themselves how to handle their holdings.

Walters said he plans to restart Eliza while continuing development of its underlying operating system, independent of the discontinued token.

He also said the project was sued by Burwick and, lacking the financial resources to contest the case, settled with a group of token holders. Under the agreement, Walters said the team transferred the project’s remaining treasury and all available funds as part of the settlement.

At the time of writing, ElizaOS traded at $0.0002844, down 17% over the last 24 hours and 47.5% over the past 30 days.
