Jane Street had built a U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF portfolio worth more than $1 billion by June 30, with BlackRock’s IBIT accounting for the bulk of the quantitative trading firm’s disclosed positions.
Specifically, about $828 million of the total was allocated to IBIT. Jane Street’s remaining exposure was distributed among other spot Bitcoin funds, including Fidelity’s FBTC and Grayscale’s GBTC.
The disclosure covers shares in the exchange-traded funds and does not represent direct Bitcoin ownership by Jane Street.
