Japan-Listed eole Becomes First Public Company to Buy Hyperliquid (HYPE)

Japan-listed eole Inc. (TSE Growth: 2334) acquired 1,078.2547 Hyperliquid (HYPE) tokens in a transaction valued at JPY 10.08 million, or roughly $61,600, making it the first publicly traded Japanese company to add the cryptocurrency to its holdings. The July 28 purchase valued each token at JPY 9,352.78, equivalent to about $57.10.

The company said it intends to expand its HYPE holdings with additional purchases through the end of August, targeting a total investment of JPY 100 million (about $610,500). The tokens will be held as a strategic digital asset under eole’s “Neo Crypto Bank” initiative, which supports its Web3 and on-chain finance businesses.

At the time of writing, Hyperliquid’s HYPE token was trading at $53.95, down 3% over the past 24 hours and 9.1% over the previous seven days.
