Metaplanet Transfers 3,881 BTC as Bitcoin Holdings Face $1.4 Billion Unrealized Loss

Metaplanet, often called “Asia’s MicroStrategy,” transferred 3,881 Bitcoin worth about $247.3 million over the past three hours, according to blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain.

The company has originally acquired a total of 43,000 BTC at an average purchase price of $96,191 per Bitcoin, Lookonchain said.

Its Bitcoin holdings are currently carrying an unrealized loss of about $1.4 billion, or 34%, as Bitcoin currently trades at $63,880, down 49.3% from its all-time high of 126,080 recorded on October 6, 2025.
