Michael Saylor Clarifies ‘Never Sell Bitcoin’ Stance, Separates It From Strategy’s Treasury Policy

Michael Saylor described his “never sell your Bitcoin” advice as a personal investment philosophy, saying the message was directed from one saver to another and that he has never sold a single satoshi.

He distinguished his personal holdings from Strategy’s corporate treasury, saying the company is a publicly listed entity rather than his personal wallet. Saylor noted that Strategy has disclosed since 2020 that it may buy or sell Bitcoin as part of its capital management activities.

According to Saylor, neither his personal conviction nor Strategy’s view on Bitcoin has changed despite the company’s longstanding disclosure regarding potential Bitcoin transactions.

As of this writing, Bitcoin was trading at $63,756, up 2% over the past 24 hours.
