Crypto Updates, Latest Updates, Market updates

Polymarket says it has stepped up insider-trading surveillance and referred nearly 100 wallets to law enforcement.

Amid growing scrutiny of event-driven prediction markets, decentralized platform Polymarket has expanded its insider-trading monitoring efforts and submitted nearly 100 wallets linked to potentially suspicious trading activity to law enforcement.

The disclosure follows a Bloomberg analysis of Polysight’s data, which found that about $200 million in trades executed on the platform during the first half of 2026 showed characteristics commonly associated with potential insider trading. Most of the flagged transactions were linked to geopolitical prediction markets focused on developments in Iran and Venezuela.
